У навчальному посібнику представлено питання етіології, епідеміології, патогенезу, патоморфологічної діагностики та наслідків основних захворювань щелепно-лицевої ділянки. Матеріал посібника викладений відповідно до програми з патоморфології для студентів стоматологічних факультетів закладів вищої освіти України і включає теми для аудиторної та позааудиторної підготовки. Структура викладення матеріалу допоможе студенту в опануванні знань з патоморфології захворювань щелепно-лицевої ділянки, а також при підготовці до складання ліцензійного іспиту “Крок-1. Стоматологія”. Для полегшення засвоєння матеріалу перший розділ посібника присвячено анатомії органів порожнини рота й основним етапам розвитку зубів.
